TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Development, Management, Support and Maintenance of your website includes one or more of the following services;

• Website and email hosting
• Domain name renewals/rentals
• Organic Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) for Google Ranking
• Updates to Text Content as required
• Updates to Image Content as required
• Security Updates

If no payment is received for a period in excess of 30 days of the invoice going out, we will attempt to contact you by telephone, e-mail or in writing. If we do not receive any response, the web site and services will be suspended until such time as you contact us. A charge may be applicable during the suspension period. If services are re-instated, your monthly charge will become due and payable on reinstatement and thereafter each month in advance. 

To cancel your services and website we require 28 days notice in writing. Upon cancelling our services, we require your account to be fully paid before releasing websites files and login details. If you had an SEO package with us, you will lose all area generated landing pages associated with your SEO package, as well as the pages being deindexed from search. In some instances, we will use paid third-party plugins, such as Google Reviews and Instagram widgets, which will be removed once you leave our services. Your website will be downloaded and returned to you fully working with all the informative service pages including the design of your website, subject to the outstanding balance.

If you are spreading the initial web design & development costs over 12 months, you agree to pay the full amount over the agreed period. Please note all websites must be paid in full as per agreed on this contract.

Our SEO packages are based on research on current Google algorithms. We try our best to get you ranking well, and we often succeed, however, we have no control on Google’s algorithms and therefore can not guarantee to rank. We reserve the right to withhold website login details to customers on one of our SEO packages. This is to protect our seo strategies from being removed/altered or copied.

Your website and/or emails are hosted with a reputable third party UK based company. It is stored and backed up daily on a server at a data centre located in the UK. We have no control on the downtime of your website and/or email services due to third party server issues and therefore we can not guarantee 100% uptime. There is a Server Level Agreement (SLA) in place between us, Essex Interactive Limited and our hosting provider, based on this agreement they assure us 99.9% uptime. The SLA agreement in place does not extend to our customers.

All images and other media must be proofed and approved by the client prior to the website going live. Essex Interactive Ltd accepts no liability for any copyright infringement issues relating to images or content provided by the client, or used on the website.

Upon using our services you agree to these terms & conditions. Subsequent invoices will follow every month via email.
